Stakeholders begin disability sports training course

DisableThe Association of Sports for the Disable (ASBOD) and the National Paralympic Committee (NPC) on Monday commenced a five day training course for stakeholders in disability sports.

The programme was aimed at equipping coaches, technical officials, therapists and doctors with modern day para sports techniques with Peter Richarz – Group Leader, Michel Mazingu-Dinzey  and Max Vardon the resource persons.

Erasmus Adorkor, Director in Sports Development at the National Sports Authority (NSA) tasked participants to attach the needed seriousness to the programme to ensure maximum benefit.
