2012 Afcon: Ghana squad against Botswana out

Ghana’s official squad for the first match against Botswana at the ongoing 2012 AFCON is out.

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) announced the list on its official social media website Facebook.

The squad sees Jordan Ayew, John Boye starting the match.

Samuel Inkoom is also in the starting line-up as well as John Paintsil. It’s likely that Inkoom will play at the left back, an uncharacteristic role for hm.

Full Squad:
Adam Kwarasey, Paintsil, Inkoom, Boye, John Mensah, Anthony Annan, Jordan Ayew, Agyemang Badu, Asamoah Gyan, Andre Ayew, Sulley Muntari.
