Dr Nduom quits CPP

Dr Paa Kwesi Nduom, a presidential hopeful, on Wednesday quit the Convention People’s Party (CPP) and declared his intention to contest the 2012 presidential election with a political movement he anticipates would be launched by February 2012.

Speaking to journalists in Accra, he stressed that he had quit the CPP and had moved on.

“I wish the CPP well as it seeks to chart the course announced by its new leadership. For me, this is the time to look forward and forward only, to a new and different political order,” he added.

You are making the wrong mistake Dr. Nduom.I know that distractors within the party have led you to take such a rash decision.Come on, you are better than that and must stay in the party to make your point and not to run away from it.Kwame Nkrumah had similar problems but he worked with dissenting view holders to succeed.

Let us leave Dr Nduom alone. It is my hope however that he is not going to propagate Nkrumaism like Dan Lartey and Dr Liman.A situation which will affect the C P P in no small way.
