Ghana stocks surge

The GSE All-Share Index, the benchmark measure of performance of the Ghana Stock Exchange, went up 8.09 points to close Tuesday’s trading session at 6,752.74 points from 6,744.65 points.

The change for the year to date is 21.18 per cent.

Unilever Ghana Limited (UNIL) was the only equity that recorded a price change, gaining GH¢0.10 to close at GH¢5.55.

Shares of 12 equities were sold bringing the traded volume to 90,427 valued at GH¢56,644.95.

Market capitalisation closed the session at GH¢19,847.78 million.
