Hypersoft’s SME Records Bank Project commended

The Group of 20 ( G-20)  has rated the SME Records Project submitted by Hypersoft Ghana Limited, a private ICT and project management professional service company,  to its Challenge  Panel as “Green SME”.

Mr Lonlon Tekpa, Chief Executive Officer of Hypersoft, the brain behind the SME Records Bank Project, told GNA on Tuesday that “Green SMEs are cutting edge mobile phones and cloud computing systems that are revolutionizing the opportunities for environmentally conscious entrepreneurs to do business.

Two SME Challenge entrants – SME Records Bank and Green Energy Project – both African based, are programmes that allow renewable energy SMEs to track supply, demand and sales information of its customers via cell phone or cloud computing platform, he said.

He said this simplifies bookkeeping; makes key business information available to potential investors; improves credit ratings and speeds up the credit application process.

Mr Tekpa said the SME Records Bank Project was initiated by Hypersoft in collaboration with International Business Machine Corporation (IBM) and seeks to roll-out a cloud computing platform across Ghana that would facilitate proper records management for businesses, both small and large, with special emphasis on SMEs towards sound growth – better credit rating, less risky environment and faster access to funds.

The SME Records Bank Project addresses all risks-associated challenges to the SME Sector through the rolling out of a Cloud Computing platform that allows easy processing of businesses’ data on-the-go for all businesses into sophisticated Cloud Software Solutions towards proper record management and fully audited financial statements.

It also gives affordable and easy access to technological innovations to run businesses; meeting regulatory compliance; creating very stable and hassle-free jobs for the country’s unemployed youths and turning the SME Sector into a sound and sophisticated engine of growth, Mr Tekpa said.
