Driver signs bond for offensive driving

law-scalesA commercial driver, Nii Okai, on Monday signed a bond to be of good behaviour or in default serve three months imprisonment.
The convict pleaded guilty before a Sekondi magistrate’s court for picking up passengers at unauthorised places and driving without drivers’ licence.
Prosecuting, Chief Inspector Joseph Baidoo with the Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolitan Assembly (STMA), told the court presided over by Mr. Kwame Polley that on July 10, the convict was arrested by the STMA security guards for picking passengers in front of a supermarket.
The prosecutor said Nii Okai also failed to produce his driver’s licence and was arrested.
