At least 12 people have been confirmed dead and seven others are still missing following devastating floods that swept through Greater Accra and other parts of the country on Monday, June 29.

At least 15 people have died in swimming accidents across Germany since Friday, according to police reports, as a heatwave sent many people to lakes, rivers and outdoor pools to cool off.
