President will publicly present Constitutional Instruments on new regions
President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, will from Tuesday, February 12, 2019 publicly present Constitutional Instruments (CIs) to give effect to the creation of the six new regions.
The following are the schedules for presentation; Tuesday, February 12, North East and Savannah Regions; Wednesday, February 13, Bono East and Ahafo Regions; and Friday, February 15, Western North and Oti Regions.
A statement signed by Mr Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, the Minister of Information and copied to the Ghana News Agency on Sunday said.
It invited delegations of chiefs and people of the new regions to attend the official ceremonies at the Jubilee House in Accra.
The statement congratulated the chiefs and people, adding that the Government expects that the creation of the new regions will be a further boost to their development.
