Dreams FC humbles Edubiase

FootballDreams FC scored  two quick goals in the second half to beat New Edubiase 2-0 in their week 17 midweek fixture of the Ghana Premier league match played at the Dreams Stadium at Dawu on Wednesday.

Dreams FC player Aaron Amoah missed a penalty in the 14th minute and Michael Sarpong also failed to connect a header for Dreams FC, ending the first half in a goalless draw.

The second half begun with the rains pouring heavily, however that did not stop the home side from chasing for the opening goal of the match.

Their efforts paid off in the 59th minute, when goalkeeper,Philemon Macarthy sent a long range shot from his eighteen yard box to beat Benjamin Mensah, in goal for New Edubiase to register the first goal of the match.

Three minutes later, Eric Gawu connected a corner kick to register the second goal for Dreams FC .

All efforts by the home team to increase the tally proved futile with New Edubiase not doing much to redeem the goals.
