The Black Stars have began a pre-tournament camping in Seville, Spain ahead of the Africa Cup of Nations which is commencing in Equatorial Guinea in a fortnight.

The team is expected to train in Spain until four days before the continent’s plum tournament that will span January 17- February 8.

Coach Avram Grant will train with 26 players over the period, with three expected to be dropped as Ghana begins another quest for a continental trophy to end an over three decade wait.

Grant is expected to name his final 23 by close of day on Wednesday, with the deadline for the submission of the ultimate squad to the Confederation of African Football (CAF), looming.

Meanwhile, Andre Ayew, Christian Atsu and Razak Brimah are among some of the players expected to join the rest of the squad in camp from their various base.

The Black Stars are housed in Group C alongside Senegal, South Africa and Algeria.
