Ghanaians urged to be hard-working in 2014

CrowdReverend Father Christopher Beyo, the Parish Priest of the Sacred Heart Parish in Tamale, has urged Ghanaians to work hard to help develop the country.

He said workers should be more productive and support the government to address the many challenges facing the country.

In a sermon at a watch night service to usher in the New Year in Tamale, Rev. Fr Beyo appealed to the country’s leadership to remain steadfast in God and put in place the necessary measures to transform and improve the living standards of the people.

“A lot happened in the past year, let’s all learn lessons from the negatives and correct them as we enter 2014,” he said.

Rev. Fr Beyo appealed to the congregation to be thankful to God for the blessing in the past year and be agents of peace and love.
