law-and-justiceMr Sam Atukwei-Quaye, Ga West Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) has ordered that the Assembly should send Amoahman Mantse to court for double sale of lands belonging to the Municipal Assembly within two weeks.

Mr Atukwei-Quaye gave the order on Monday during the third ordinary session meeting of the Assembly at Amansaman in the Greater Accra Region.

He said Nii Amoah, Amoahman Mantse at Ajenkotoku sold a land measuring 22.7 acres to the Municipal Assembly in 2007 for the construction of a modern abattoir and a kraal.

He said Nii Amoah later sold the same land to another estate developer, who has registered the same land early this year.

The MCE noted that the creation of the modern abattoir and kraal would give employment to the youth of the area.
