Ghana names squad for Turkey friendly

Ghana_MalawiKwesi Appiah has named his squad to face Turkey next week in a friendly in Istanbul.

The Black Stars coach has selected a 21-man group for Wednesday’s match at the Ataturk Olympic Stadium, which will be a tough warm-up for next month’s World Cup qualifier against Zambia.

And Appiah makes some real surprises with his choices, including three debutants in his team.

Spain-based goalkeeper Razak Braimah, midfielder Yussif Raman Chibsah and striker Emmanuel Banahene were named in the squad.

The match against Turkey will kick off at 21:30 pm [7:30GMT] in Istanbul.
