Nana OKotwere Bekoe, Chief of Gomoa Ada and Apagyahene of Gomoa Assin Traditional Area, made this known at the celebration of the annual Ahobaa festival at Gomoa Ada.

He said the bye-laws are aimed at protecting girls and reduce the high incidence of teenage pregnancy  and promote girl-child education.

The Apagyahene  asked the Ministry of the Interior to investigate group hunting activities currently on ascendancy in the area and posing insecurity threat to farmers.

He said the hunters made up of retired military and police officers are armed with sophisticated weapons, making it very difficult for the farmers to challenge them.
