Easter should strengthen the hope and faith of Christians – Priest
Reverend Albert Amoah of the African Methodist Episcopal (AME) Church, on Sunday said Easter should strengthen the hope and faith that Christians have in Jesus Christ.
He was preaching the sermon at an Easter Service of the AME Gethsemane Church at Kweikuma near Takoradi.
Reverend Amoah said Easter should bring joy to Christians because Jesus their savior resurrected on that day.
He said the resurrection proves to the world that Jesus is alive and is the Son of God, which should give Christians hope.
Reverend Amoah said Easter assures Christians that their efforts and their worship are not in vain.
He said “everything and power belongs to Jesus and that he will not fail us if we put our trust in him.”
