Black Stars have arrived in Nelspruit ahead of the semi-final meeting with Burkina Faso at the Mbombela Stadium on Wednesday in one of the two games involving the last four.

The Stars who have played all four games in Port Elizabeth thus far will be hoping to wrap all points in the game they must win to book a place in the grand finale.

The team is expected to train at the Mbombela stadium later on Tuesday to have a feel of the pitch, that has come under criticism from players at the tournament underway in South Africa.

Ghana, tagged favourites to win the tournament that ends on Sunday, February 10 are chasing a fifth Nations Cup glory that spans over three decades.

The Stars defeated debutants, Cape Verde 2-0 to wrap up a place in the last four and set a date with Burkina Faso who last reached the semis in 1998 when they hosted the rest of Africa.

The last time Ghana played at the semi-finals was at the last edition in Gabon and Equatorial Guinea in 2012, losing 0-1 to eventual winners, Zambia.

The winner of the Mbombela tie will next meet the victor of the Nigeria and Mali in Johannesburg on Sunday, February 10 to know who succeeds Zambia as defending champions.
