Ghana’s Electoral Commission premises remain calm with heavy security presence

The vicinity of the Electoral Commission (EC) is very quiet with entrances of both ends of the road leading to the Commission heavily guarded by security personnel.

Heavy crowd control vehicles, military armoured personnel carriers and fire tenders have been positioned at vantage points around the immediate areas leading to the EC including the Ridge Hospital.

All roads leading to the general areas of the EC have been sealed off to vehicular movement in readiness of any eventually when the results are called.

    The elecctoral commission of ghana should recount the ballot papers manually to avoid any chaos and restore calm

    We need peace not war..for peace to reign please recount the papers. We can’t stay in chaotic environment…be fair and not bais
