Villa Monticello beats La Palm, Movenpick to win Ghana’s best hotel for 2012 Award

A silent luxury boutique hotel, Villa Monticello, located around the Airport Residential Area has been crowned Ghana’s Leading Hotel for 2012 by the World Travel Awards.

The hotel beats the La Palm Royal Beach, Movenpick Ambassador Hotel and the  Labadi Beach Hotel to win the award.

It has 14 individually custom-decorated luxury suites some named after African greats such as Ghana’s first President Dr Kwame Nkrumah and Nelson Mandela.

La Palm has won the award for five times since 2004. Golden Tulip Accra and Novotel have all won it before.
