Ghana slips again in October 2012 FIFA African rankings

The Ghana Black Stars dropped to fourth on the African continent, according to the October 2012 FIFA rankings released today October 3, 2012.

The senior national soccer men’s team is now behind leaders Ivory Coast, Algeria and Mali.

The Black Stars slipped to third on the continental table in the September 2012 edition of the FIFA rankings after Algeria moved to second place.

Meanwhile, Ghana maintained its position on the world rankings just as the previous month of September. The Black Stars are still placed 31st on the overall table despite gaining eight points more to take their accumulation to 722 points.

Spain is still tops with Germany at second and Portugal beating England to the third position on the world ranking table.
