Manasseh Azure named Ghana’s Journalist of the Year 2011

Manasseh Azure Awuni – Journalist of the Year

Manasseh Azure Awuni was yesterday Saturday August 25, 2012 named Journalist of the Year for 2011 during the 17th Ghana Journalist Association (GJA) Awards ceremony.

The freelance journalist also took home four awards – Best Radio Report, Best News Report, Best Sanitation report and Best feature report in print.

About 35 awards were given to journalists and media institutions who have excelled in their works during 2011.

Only one honorary award was given at the ceremony and that went to Mr Fiifi Nettey, an administrative officer at the Ghana International Press Centre.
