Dr Brandful and the President noted that while current bilateral ties between Ghana and Singapore were strong, measures could be adopted to strengthen them further, especially in areas such as oil and gas, which provided a growing interest for Singaporean businesses in Ghana.

They pledged to intensify Ghana-Singapore cooperation appropriately.

While in Singapore, the team met with the Ghanaian community to interact, share experiences and discuss issues of mutual interest.

Additionally, arrangements were made for the team to pay a consular visit to a Prison in Singapore, to interact with two Ghanaian female inmates awaiting trial for drug trafficking.

Institutional ties were renewed with such key collaborators as the Foreign Ministry, Singapore Business Federation, International Enterprise Singapore, and Civil Service College.
