IFC to invest $300m in Ghana in 2012

The International Finance Corporation (IFC), a member of the World Bank Group which works with the private sector, says it intends to invest between $250 million to $300 million in Ghana in fiscal year 2012.

In September 2011, the IFC indicated that as at that time its investments in Ghana stood at $533 million.

It says it is seeking to support infrastructure, tourism, agribusiness and small and medium businesses.
