The Association of Building and Civil Contractors of Ghana, has elected Mr Martins Nnuro as its new President.
He polled 23 votes to beat his closest challenger and former President, Mr Edward Amanor who had 19 votes.
The election was held at the annual general meeting of the Association in Takoradi in the Western Region on Friday.
The third candidate Mr Eric Tsa pulled 8 votes.
Mr Nnuro until his election was the Eastern Regional Chairman of the Association.
He pledged to work to address issues working against the building construction industry.
The meeting was also used to launch the website of the Association as well as a new logo.
