Ghana to host first Embassy Fair

Precise Marketing Solutions is to host the first ever Embassy Fair in Ghana from May 3 to 4, 2012.

The Embassy Fair which would be an annual event is designed to bring together Diplomatic Missions and Embassies operating in Ghana together to educate the public on their activities, promote their services and also show-case achievements in contributing to the development of Ghana.

A statement in Accra by Precise Marketing Solutions and copied the Ghana News Agency on Monday said the event would be a one-stop shop  where the general public would have access to pieces of information on all the various services and programmes offered by the diplomatic missions based in Ghana.

The statement said the event, created to foster bilateral relations between Ghana and other countries, would feature exhibitions, seminars and networking among other activities.

At the exhibitions, attendees would be able to find information on services provided, while the seminars would be conducted by various embassies on trade, investment, travel, immigration and educational opportunities in their various countries.

The fair, according to the statement, “seeks to bridge the gap between the general public and diplomatic missions in Ghana and to educate and inform the public about services and programmes run by Diplomatic Missions and Embassies.

It would also support and promote the Millennium Development Goal 8, a global partnership for development and create a platform for the diplomatic community in Ghana to showcase their works that were contributing to Ghana’s socio-economic development.

“The fair will be climaxed with a networking event to connect the Ghanaian business community with the diplomatic community, “Mr Stephen Gyasi-Kwaw, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Precise Marketing Solutions was quoted as saying.
