Farmer, 52, remanded in prison custody
Yaw Salifu, 52, a farmer, has been remanded in prison custody to enable the Police carry out investigations into the charge of murdering one Kofi Nyame, 22, at Badukrom in the Ajumako-Enyan-Essiam District of the Central Region.
His plea was not taken.
Inspector Bismark Appiah told the Ajumako District Court presided over by Madam Patience Ablorh that on November 29, 2011 a misunderstanding over stolen oranges ensued between the deceased and the owner, Yaw Salifu.
He said the suspect allegedly used a kitchen knife to stab the deceased under the left armpit resulting in the death of Nyame.
