The Member of Parliament (MP) for Asante-Akim South, Mrs Gifty Ohene Konadu, has presented an ambulance, a desktop computer and accessories to the Kumeso Health Centre to help facilitate its operation.

The MP said she was in no doubt that the donation would aid the centre to transport patients to referral facilities and to promptly respond to emergencies.

This was the second time Mrs Ohene Konadu was making such a donation. The first went to the Banka Health Centre.

She said her goal was to support the promotion of quality health care, particularly among people in the rural communities.

She encouraged the management of the facility to ensure that the vehicle was properly maintained to make it last long.

Mr Danso Yeboah, District Director of Health Services, praised the MP for the tremendous contribution she was making towards health care delivery in the area.

He said apart from the vehicles and motorbikes she had provided to some Community-based Health Planning and Services (CHPS), she had also been assisting the health directorate with drugs and hospital equipment.
