The world’s leading mobile phone manufacturer, Nokia says its dual-sim phones which are already on the Ghanaian market will be officially launched Monday July 18, 2011.

Osagie Ogunbor, Head of Communications at Nokia West Africa tells ghanabusinessnews.com that the product is already on the market.

“The phones are already on the Ghanaian market”, Mr Ogunbor told ghanabusinessnews.com in a brief interview after the company graduated some Ghanaian student companies from its enterprise programme in Accra July 16, 2011.

Mr. Ogunbor explains that it has become necessary for Nokia to offer such a product since its clients want it even though he declined to tell me whether any feasibility studies were done before the product was developed and produced.

He said such product provides comfort since one does not need to carry many phones with different networks.

The phones are Nokia X1-01 dual SIM music phone and Nokia C2-03 Touch and Type dual SIM mobile phone.

I have use nokia phones throughout my life but the current problems the brand face in Ghana is lack of original / genuine accessories like batteries on the market. most of the batteries in the market are fake which has forced most people to pack their nokia phones. Please, it will do all of us good if you can assigned an accredit shop to sale your batteries direct to customers. also try to advertise such a venue or where we can get your original accessoris. I personally think people are duplicating your batteries in the sub region and elsewhere help stop criminals. the only phone for all time use in the world is NOKIA. CONGRATULATIONS! FOR YOUR NEW DUAL SIM BRAND. I AM MORE THAN HAPPY FOR YOU. THANKS. LONG LIVE NOKIA COMPANY ALL OVER THE WORLD!
