Principal of Kofi Annan Technical School appeals for boarding facility

The Principal of Kofi Annan School for Technical and Vocational Training at Ajumako-Afransi in the Central Region, Mr Emmanuel S. Bonney has appealed to the Government to provide the academic facility with boarding house to ensure effective teaching and learning.

Mr Bonney said lacked of boarding facilities was undermining the extra-curriculum activities of the school.

Speaking to the Ghana News Agency, he listed some of the problems of the school as lack of recreational facilities and staff bungalows.

The school, he said has a population of 167 including 21 females undertaking dressmaking, carpentry, mason, electrical and agricultural science for a four-year term.

Mr Bonney said 90 per cent of the students presented for the National Vocational and Technical Institute exams in 2009 were successful.
