Ghana News Agency General Manager asked to proceed on indefinite leave

The Board of Directors of the Ghana News Agency has directed the General Manager, Nana Appau Duah to proceed on indefinite leave from Friday April 15, 2011.

The Acting Chairman of the Board, Mr Kodwo Ahlijah, who announced this at a meeting with the Local Executives of Public Service Workers Union (PSWU) and the Communications Workers Union (CWU) on Thursday afternoon, said Nana Appau Duah has attained the compulsory retiring age of 60 years of public servants.

The Board directed that he should handover his duties as General Manager to the Supervising Chief Editor, Mr Boakye-Dankwa Boadi.
