Alhaji Ismaila Ibrahim, National Secretary of NASARA Club, an affiliate of the main opposition New Patriotic Party, has advised Ghanaians irrespective of their ethnic and political backgrounds to uphold the principle of peace and unity.

This he said would ensure rapid national development.

Alhaji Ismaila gave the advice at a meeting with Arabic school teachers at Akim Old Town in the Birim Central Municipality of the Eastern Region.

He asked teachers to guard against absenteeism and other acts that undermine the integrity of their profession.

Alhaji Ismaila said teachers should endeavour to serve as role models for their students.
