The items include a cheque for GH¢5,000, MTN recharge cards worth GH¢1,000, assorted MTN souvenirs and assorted drinks.
Nii Adotey Mingles, Greater Accra Regional Sales Senior Manager presenting the items, said in addition management would sponsor the grand durbar, football tournament and advertisements for the festival.
Nii Mingles said the festival had rich tradition and many avenues for management to demonstrate its commitment to larger Ghanaian communities within its area of operation.
He commended the leadership of the Council in the past and currently in their efforts that instituted the festival to overcome hunger.
“The same can-do spirit drives management of MTN to achieve its goal of delivering world class telecommunication services,” he added.
Nii Mingles pledged the commitment of management towards the development of communities within the Council.
King Tackie Tawiah III, Ga Mantse, receiving the items thanked management of MTN for their support and promised a successful festival.
The festival is scheduled for August 11.
