EuroMillions jackpot hits £138m

The second biggest jackpot in EuroMillions history will be on offer tonight with an estimated £138 million up for grabs.

If a Briton wins the top EuroMillions prize, he or she would become the 512th richest person in the country and would have a bigger fortune than Eric Clapton, according to the Sunday Times Rich List.

The UK’s biggest ever winners – and the biggest EuroMillions winners of all time – were Scottish husband and wife Colin and Chris Weir who won £161 million in July.

Another Briton – who chose to remain anonymous – banked £113 million last October.
