Ghana Post workers on strike

Workers of Ghana Post across the country have embarked on a sit down strike in protest against mismanagement of the company. They are also asking for the removal of some senior managers.

The workers are demanding the removal of the Managing Director, Mr. Duah Adonteng and two other top management staff – General Manager in charge of Finance, K.K. Ofori and General Manager in charge of Financial Services, Seth Obeng.

They are demanding that these officials resign or they should be removed from office.

As a result of the action most post offices across the country have shut down.
