Ramel International joins Ghana’s 100 elite companies

Ramel International Group was named among the prestigious Ghana Club 100 companies last weekend.

The award by the Ghana Investment Promotion Council (GIPC) at the Banquet Hall State House, Accra under the distinguished Chairmanship of Mr. P.V Obeng, representing President John Dramani Mahama, on Friday distinguishes the leading conference and event Management Company as one of the top, fastest growing businesses in Ghana today.

The award which is geared towards promoting good corporate governance and innovative entrepreneurship amongst Ghanaian companies is organized annually by GIPC to assess companies operating in the country based on their overall growth, profits and taxes among others.

Among the distinguished personalities who graced the occasion were former president, Jerry John Rawlings, and his wife Nana Konadu Agyemang-Rawlings.

In his remarks, Mr. P.V Obeng congratulated the award winners and urged them to mentor other growing companies to enable them develop.

He reiterated government’s recognition of the critical role of the private sector in the development of the economy.

In that regard, therefore, Mr. Obeng said government was prepared to work with the private sector advisory council to formulate and implement policies that would encourage and reward creativity and innovation.

“It is important to note that potential investors would always be interested in seeing evidence of a company that is not just successful in terms of clients and revenue but is competitive on the global market,” Mawuena Trebarh Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the GIPC noted.

She added that the dynamic and competitive nature of the global business meant investors would only be attracted to well-organised and positively ambitious companies.
