Ghanaian development partner signs $6b agreement to introduce shipping line  

Hi-Limit Goup, a private development partner, has signed a $6 billion financing deal with Future Safe investments Group to procure four ultra-large container vessels.  

A new Ghanaian shipping line will therefore be introduced following the agreement.  

A statement issued by the Hi-Limit group and copied to the Ghana News Agency said   four processing factories will also be constructed under the project  

The statement said the four vessels to be built at the China State Shipbuilding Yard was expected to be completed and launched to start sail in December 2027.  

The first tranche of funds is ready to be released for the project to begin  

The statement said the vessels will be operated by GBPC Shipping, a subsidiary of Hi-Limit Group.
