There’s no “Shadow Search” syndicate – Lands Commission

The Lands Commission says there is no “Shadow Search” syndicate operating under them.

A statement from the Commission said there was nothing known as “Shadow Search” in the Commission and asked the public to disregard such reports in the media.

It said the Commission as a State mandated body in the management of government Lands, conducted official searches for applicants to facilitate their land transactions.

The searches and other services provided by the Commission, the statement said, could be accessed by the public through the Client Service Access Unit(CSAU) of the Lands Commission or through its online portal

“We, therefore, admonish the public to interact with the Lands Commission exclusively through the CSAU or our Online Portal”, the statement said.

It said the CSAU and the online portal were the only channels through which all transactions at the Lands Commission were submitted and received.

The statement said clients or applicants who failed to transact business with the Lands Commission through the prescribed channels did so at their own risk.
