Police arrests two in demolition case of Nigerian High Commission building

The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) of the Ghana Police Service has started probing two persons involved in the demolition of a building on the premises of the Nigerian High Commission.

This follows the arrest of the two on Monday, June 22, for allegedly taking part in the demolition of the one storey structure.

These were contained in a press release issued and signed by the Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Ms Juliana Obeng, Head of Public Affairs Unit, CID and made available to the Ghana News Agency.

She said the suspects, whose name she did not give, have been charged with conspiracy to commit crime to wit; unlawful entry and causing unlawful damage.

They would be soon put before the courts, she said.
