Kidnapping suspect fails to produce accomplices – Prosecution

A suspected kidnapper, Samuel Wills, who named a Police detective and one Kwesi as those who aided in his cell break on Monday failed to produce the two when he appeared in court.

The Prosecution said though he was taken to a place called Kansaworodo where he claimed the said Kwesi lived, he not could identify anyone to law enforcement agents.

Meanwhile the suspect’s request for an identification parade to identify the said detective is yet to materialised and was remanded to reappear on Monday 5 March, 2019.

The presiding Judge His Worship Michael Ampadu urged parents and family members of the affected victims to exercise restraint with the court since he was yet to receive any substance concerning the kidnapping.

He explained that currently the issue before the court was about the escape from lawful custody.

Family members and others who thronged the court were of the view that the suspect must be made to produce the alleged missing girls.
