Police Administration assures public of investigation of crimes
The Police Administration has assured the public that it was taking into consideration public/media information and opinion concerning recent violent crimes in its investigation to arrest perpetrators to face the law.
“The public is assured that the Administration is marshalling all resources towards this effort.”
This was in a statement signed by the Assistant Commissioner of Police and the Director General of the Public Affairs Directorate of the Ghana Police, Mr David Eklu, and copied to the Ghana News Agency on Wednesday.
It said officers from specialised units of the Criminal Investigation Department, including the Counter Terrorism and Special Weapon and Tactics Units, were part of the team of investigators handling those cases.
The statement encouraged persons and groups with credible information to contact the Police directly by speaking to the Police Commanders, within their jurisdiction, on telephone numbers 0244623866, 0242814863 or toll free 191 and 18555 and send email to [email protected] or [email protected].
