Stakeholders commended on Yendi peace process

The Catholic Bishop of Yendi, Bishop Vincent Sowah Boi – Nai, has commended government and all stakeholders for coming out with an acceptable road map on the peace process in relation to the funerals of Ya-Na Mahammadu Abdulai IV and Ya – Na Yakubu II.

In a New Year message, Bishop Boi – Nai also expressed the hope that a similar peace process would occur at Bimbilla for them to perform their funerals.

Speaking at Our Lady of Lourdes Cathedral Catholic Church, Bishop Boi-Nai called on Christians to forgive and forget and love their neighbours as Christ did.

He called on Christians to have a New Year resolution which would guide them throughout the year adding that in this process, it is important to remember the birth of Christ who came to take away our sins.
