Ministry declares Thursday September 21 a public holiday

The Ministry of the Interior, has declared Thursday September 21, 2017 as a statutory public holiday.

A statement signed by Mr Ambrose Dery, the Minister for the Interior, in Accra on Monday, said the day, marked the birthday of Osagyefo Dr Kwame Nkrumah, who was Ghana’s first President, and as such had been declared as “Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Day”, which should be observed as such throughout the country.
