Mr Yakubu observed that all things been equal the division would be able to double the amount generated by the close of the year.

He expressed appreciation to the officers and revenue collectors as well as importers and all tax payers for their contributions towards the success made.

Mr Yakubu was hopeful that tax evaders and defaulters would change their attitudes and honour their tax obligations for the country to generate enough financial resources for accelerated national development.

He warned that the Collection would prosecute tax defaulters and therefore urged them to settle their outstanding taxes to avoid sanctions.
