Daniel Nii Adjei, former midfielder of Kumasi Asante Kotoko , has said that the impatience of some supporters of the club, has caused the club’s poor run of form this season.

According to Nii Adjei, the frequent sacking of coaches was inappropriate for the development of a club.

He reckoned that Zdravko Lugarusic’s dismissal was wrong and it is the cause of Kotoko’s recent abysmal performances.

“I don’t understand why some Kotoko supporters are saying the team is not performing, you had a coach who was winning and not conceding, but u said he is not good enough so they should sack him.” Nii Adjei made these remarks on his official Facebook wall.

“Coach Didi Dramani won the Ghana premier league for Kotoko, the following season you asked management to sack sack him, so which coach do the supporters want now?

“Football will not favor you always, footballers go to the field to do their best and win, if they lose you take it in good faith and wish that they win the next time

“Even in life u can’t get everything rosy, that’s how football is, and you can’t win all your matches. The supporters should not always criticize the team.

“Most of the bad things going on in the team are caused by some of the fans”, Said Nii Adjei.

Kumasi Asante Kotoko would play Great Olympics at the Accra sports stadium on Saturday as they seek for their first victory after seven consecutive games.

The porcupines are placed fifth on the league log having amassed twenty (20) points after match day thirteen (13) of the Ghana Premier League.
