GFA appoints Kwesi Appiah as Black Stars head coach

The Ghana Football Association has appointed Kwesi Appiah as the substantive head coach of the Black Stars.

Kwesi Appiah replaces Avram Grant, whose two year contract expired last February.

After a thorough search by a six member committee set by the Ghana Football Association, Kwesi Appiah was given the nod as head coach, for the second time, of the Black Stars with effect from May, 1, 2017.

Coach Kwesi Appiah would sign a two year contract as the head coach of the national senior football team and would also be in charge of the local Black Stars.
