Akufo-Addo joins France Ambassador in exclusive dinner to celebrate French gastronomy

President Akufo-Addo joined the French Ambassador to Ghana, Francois Pujolas, at a prestigious dinner held by the ambassador to celebrate French gastronomy.

The event was part of the world-wide celebration of French gastronomy, where 12 restaurants from Ghana participated in this year’s Good France dinner to familiarize Ghanaians with French food.

According to a press release from the French Embassy, the participating restaurants came not only from Accra but also from Kumasi, Peduase, Takoradi, Akosombo and Axim.

It noted that the restaurants were from different backgrounds, but had an open outlook to create a convivial atmosphere of complementarity for the event.

Additionally, the event presented an opportunity to Ghanaians to enjoy French food and wine here in Ghana, where there is a growing interest in French cuisine.

This dinner, the release noted was prepared by the three starred Michelin Chef Jean-Luc L’Hourre who presented an exquisite menu bringing together France and Ghana with locally available ingredients.

About 80 VIP guests from the political, economic and cultural worlds enjoyed these delicacies.
