TATA establishes service center in Kumasi

TATA Africa Holdings Ghana Limited (TAHGL) has established strong presence in Kumasi, the nation’s second largest city, with the opening of a service centre.

Spread on a three-acre land, it comes with showroom, workshop, washing bay and spare parts shop.

It is a partnership between the company and Servicing Mining Industrial and Construction Equipment (SMICE).

The centre would service and sell TATA vehicle spare parts in the Northern part of the country.

Mr. Mohamad Rashid Khan, the Sales Manager, said it would cut down cost to their customers as they would no longer have to travel all the way to Accra.

He indicated that regular servicing was vital to the smooth and efficient running of every vehicle.

That prevents the vehicle from breaking down and saves the owner from spending huge sums of money to fix them.

Mr. Khan announced that TAHGL had invested in excess of US$5 million in the country.

The company would continue to put in more to assist enhance the automobile industry to grow Ghana’s economy.

Mr. Amos Amankwah, Managing Director of SMICE, said they would put premium on good customer care and quality job.
