The National Democratic Congress would on August 14, launch its campaign to outdoor its presidential candidate and outline the party activities for the impending December 7 polls.

The launch would take place at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium at 1300 hours.

Mrs Joyce Bawa Mogtari, the Spokesperson for the Campaign Team, announcing the launch at a news briefing in Accra said the party had demonstrated commitment to social democratic ideals, saying President John Dramani Mahama deserves to be re-elected to continue the development he had started.

Mrs Mogtari said President Mahama has demonstrated commitment and passion to the ideals of the party and the NDC is prepared to support his second-term bid to lead the party to victory in December.

She urged media houses in the region to present the names of media personnel and two passport pictures to the regional party office for accreditation while those in Accra are to do so at the party’s headquarters.

The party would at a later date announce the launch of its manifesto to give details about the plans and policy for the country on the theme: “Changing Lives, Transforming Ghana.”
