Bawumia urges Voltarians to try NPP for a good change

BawumiaDr Mahamudu Bawumia, the Running Mate of the Flag Bearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has toured the Ho-West Constituency of the Volta Region, calling on the people to repose their trust in the NPP for a better management of the economy.

He paid courtesy calls on the chiefs of Tsito-Awudome, Abutia, Dzolokpuita, Kpedze, Togome and Amedzofe,  and addressed the students and staff of the Amedzofe College of Education to climax the tour.

Dr Bawamia’s exhortation at all the engagements was for the people to vote for Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, Flag Bearer of the NPP as the President, in the coming elections to bring about a remarkable socio-economic prosperity nationwide.

He said a win for Nana Akufo-Addo would be a win for a competence-based state management of national affairs.

Dr Bawumia said the present Government was at its wits end, therefore, it was resorting to slapping taxes on everything imaginable to enable it govern.

He said providing potable water and social services would be some of the priorities of an NPP Government.

Dr Bawumia gave the assurance that a Nana Akufo-Addo-led Government would restore allowances for teacher trainees and student nurses in its first budget.

He promised to provide a mechanised borehole for the Amedzofe College of Education where more than 500 students sometimes had to draw water from streams around the campus

Dr Bawumia was accompanied by Isaac Adika, the NPP Parliamentary Candidate for Ho-Central, Madam Elizabeth Ohene, a Minister of State in the Kufuor Administration, John Peter Amewu, the Volta Regional Chairman of the NPP, among others.
