President Mahama makes ministerial changes
President Mahama has made some ministerial changes, according to information from the Flagstaff House.
Agric Minister Fiifi Fiavi Kwetey is now the Minister for Transport while Alhaji Mohammed Muniru Limuna is the new Minister for Food and Agriculture.
Interior Minister Mark Woyongo has been reassigned as a Minister of State at the Presidency.
The following have also been nominated for new posts:
Prosper Douglas Bani – Minister Designate for the Interior
Edwin Nii Lante Vanderpuye – Minister Designate for Youth and Sports
John Alexander Ackon – Minister Designate for the Ashanti Region
Kweku Ricketts Hagan – Minister Designate for the Central Region
Mavis Ama Frimpong – Minister Designate for the Eastern Region
Abdallah Abubakari – Minister Designate for the Northern Region
Albert Abongo – Minister Designate for the Upper East Region
According to the Flagstaff House, Andy Osei Okrah has been nominated Deputy Minister Designate for the Ashanti Region and Robert Baba Kuganab-Lem, Dputy Minister Designate for the Upper East Region.
The changes are still ongoing according to the Chief of Staff Mr Julius Debrah.
