Ghana needs positive change- Nana Akufo-Addo

Akufo-AddoNana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, Presidential Candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), says the country needs peaceful elections to ensure positive change that would make life better for Ghanaians.

He said the NPP would therefore never do anything bad that could spark off political violence or plunge the nation into war.

Addressing the chiefs and people of Gomoa Afransi in the Central Region to climax their annual Akwambo festival, Nana Akufo-Addo called on the chiefs, religious bodies, civil society groups and other relevant organisations to make sure that no negative things are done to cheat or create room for rigging.

He said Ghanaians are expecting to see change in the 2016 elections for resuscitation of the fragile economy.

He said the chiefs and people of Gomoa East and Gomoa West Districts would also benefit from good roads, quality health and other development interventions when the party is voted into power.

Nana Addo called on the people to vote for Naana Eyiah Quansah, parliamentary candidate for Gomoa Central and Mr Alex Abban, a lawyer and Parliamentary Candidate for Gomoa West.

He said the two candidates when given them the nod could bring more developmental programmes to better the lot of the people.

The NPP Flag bearer donated GH₵5,000 to the chiefs and people to support their developmental programmes.

Ogyedome Obranu Kwesi Atta, Chief of Gomoa Afransi appealed to President John Dramani Mahama to ensure that 2016 elections are held devoid of problems to enable Ghanaians to continue enjoy peace.
